Do you do any research on your own?

No, people are too lazy now a days, don't want to do anything themselves, and I find it funny how most of the time they tend to be assholes and talk down to senior members of the site, when they are the ones in need of help.

Re: police superbike

i aint talkin down to no one, i asked a simple question and they gave a smartass answer, the forum is here for help but all of you guys are reluctant to give it, " search the forum" do this do that. the forum answers may not be totally specific to what people need and some of us dont know where to look for certain things, like this paint, how about you all give the newbies including me a big ass break

I answered your question, what more did you want?

Please, attempt to spell correctly, use some punctuation and grammar and most significantly, follow some forum etiquette.

Thank you.

I feel like you have a ton of experience and a wealth of infomation to add to this forum so please chill out and if you dont have anything constructive to say LEAVE the Submit Reply button alone.

Re: police superbike

I am feeling...this forum became very unwellcome to some members, and unfriendly atomsphere arround AF car modelling session. If you dont like to answer his questions, you can simply do not answer his question.

Freakray's response of "Did you ever consider using paint?" could be taken two ways. The first way would be to take it in a humorous fashion and reply in kind. Instead CJ_BALLER13 appeared to reply in an antagonistic fashion, which in my view, causes problems of it's own. This was evident in the replies from other members. I think it is important that we always try to take the humorous path in our replies - this is supposed to be fun place remember.

Next it is also important to ask clear questions - no one minds helping others when their questions are posted clearly and concisely. This is also important as some members do not have English as their first language and sometimes have to use translation services or sites. Posting your question as clearly and correctly as possible helps these members to possibly help you.

Finally the above is not meant to be a lecture. I am just trying to get the point across that it is important that we all work together to make this forum as useful and enjoyable as is possible. We all have bad days however we should first take a deep breath and put ourselves in the other persons shoes for an instant before replying.

In defense of Freakray....

cjballer did not specify whether he was looking for paint or decal or whatever.... it was a very vague question and at least Freak hinted to the right answer regardless. also to an extent i agree with the "noobs" that maybe Freaks reply was a bit harsh BUT cjballer joined this forum recently and has flogged this forum with questions easily answered by a simple search. it gets old. im guilty of asking questions i could search for as well but i would not have learned to research if i did not get the same "smartass" remarks. now if im going to ask a seemingly simple question that is "model specific" i make sure i have some evidence that i have researched it first. it incourages replies from the more "knowledgable" members.

Because they are the most knowledgeable and have been here the longest, and F.Y.I, I didn't get any respect either when I first joined ether. Respect is somthing you earn, and you don't get it by being cry baby's who can't take a little heat without going to mommy. And as far as freakray's reply, he never said any options he considered. This forum does have the best talent, to bad there are to many "pussy's".

Re: police superbike

Respect is earned, it is not a right.

Flaming a moderator is not a way to get respect, it's a way to shorten your welcome here.

If you ask an inconcise question, don't cry when you get an inconclusive answer.

Most n00b's find themselves getting 'disrespect' because they fail to heed the simplest advice - "read the FAQ and How To' section, it's that easy.

Thank you
