Acura Integra Supersonic Blue mixed with Silver Pearl. I think the paint was either PPI or House of Colors. The code is a custom mix. The color is a bit more purple in person. Blue in the mornings and at night, but more purple during the day.
Yes, purple, it's my favorite color and I am not gay. The pics that are on the net were taken with a digital camera, so it doesn't show the true color of the car. I plan to take more pics soon with the new sides and back bumper from Austria.Blair 95 VTEC www.teamsolil.com |

As soon as you get more pics let me see man, I like that color its very nice. My car got F|-|CKIN SCRATCHED, and broken into 3 days ago, its normal color is milano red but now its all sratched I dont know if I want to keep it the same color or try something new. The insurance will pay for it so I am not worried about that. Will the insurance tell them to paint it red again? It was scratched all the way around. Bumpers(both), hood, fenders, doors, rear 1/4 panel, it sucks I know but since I have full coverage I am not that worried. What do you think>?

No, I don't think the insurance will tell them to paint it the factory color. They will just give you an amount to paint it over. Red and other rich colors run more in price then like black or white, so that may help increase the amount you get. They may ask you to go to 3 body shops and get estimates for the body work/repaint. If that is the case then you want to find 3 high end body shops, because most likely they will take the lowest estimate and go from there. Once the amount is determined, then you insurance company will cut you a check. From that point, it's up to you to either get the car fixed or keep the money. Some people that have accidents and what not, might be in a fiancial bind and just live with the damage and use the money to pay bills. Unless the insurance company makes the check out to a body shop, then you can do whatever you want with the money. Even if they use a particular body shop for estimates to base the money on doesn't mean you have to use that particular body shop to fix it.
It's hard to say how much it would cost for a tail light or head light conversion, because it depends on the shop, how much they charge for labor, and how long it takes. You want to find a place that has done them a lot, because you don't want your sol to be their first experiment or victim. Ask to see there work on other cars, etc. to get a good idea of their capable of good work. I payed $750 for the tail lights with the wiring harness. Then it was about $1500 for the conversion/body work, then another $2500 for the paint job. Blair 95 VTEC www.teamsolil.com |
