fogged headlights
i have a 99 gp gt that constantly has condensation in the headlights after i wash it, or after it rains. can anyone help me get rid of this problem? also, the headlight covers look like crap, are there any good aftermarket h.l. assy. out there? i'm not really wanting plain covers, but preferrably the complete assy. thank you

Re: fogged headlights
I can tell you that it's the seal for the headlight. There is the front lens and the rear portion and the glue at holds them together. I replaced both of my HL's(complete assembly's) on my 98GT becuase both of the lenses had this problem. the glue that held the HL's together just dried up and started to leaked. Really crappy glue that held them together. I found them both on Ebay for about $80 a peice. Mine even came with new bulbs.

Another thing you can do,is get some clear silicone RTV and pull the headlight and dri them out and apply some silicone to the outside of the lens to the housing. That should seal them up.They did have some problems with the adhisive they used and was corrected in later years.
