How to make speaker rings and tv box??
HI I AM REMOVING THE OLD RADIO AND CD PLAYER SO I HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO PUT A T.V IN THE DASH. I DONT MEAN FLIP OUT SCREEN. I MEAN A REGULAR SCREEN. MY QUESTION IS ANYONE KNOW A WEBSITE THAT SHOWS YOU HOW TO DO IT. I WANT TO MAKE A LITTLE BOX TO PUT THE SCREEN IN. i AM NOT SURE HOW TO DO IT THOUGH IF ANYONE HAS DONE IT IF U CAN HELP ME OUT I'D REALLY APPRECIAE IT AND ALSO I HEARD YOU MAKE THE SPEAKER RINGS OUT OF FIBERBOARD, WHERE WOULD YOU FIND THIS?

|
I also have another question. After I cut the MDF box for the tv. How I install the tv so it will be flush to the box. What do you use to keep the tv. for being stationary and so that it wont fall off when u push on it.

I would make a MDF outline of it, as thick as the TV... Stack multiple MDF boards if neccesary. Then lay one solid sheet over the back of it, so the tv sits in a recess in the MDF board. A good glue would work fine at holding them together. Drill a hole in the backing board for the wiring, and you're all set. Fiberglass the whole structure into your dash. There must be some screw or bolt holes in the back of the TV, use those to mount the TV to the backing plate.
