cigarette lighter replacement

my cig lighter isn't working on my altima 96 and i need it to plug in sat radio.. cell phone.. laptop etc etc. How hard is it to replace that for someone who isn't all that great with cars but does know a lot about electronics? or should i just go get it done with somebody else?

Re: cigarette lighter replacement

yea but i'm not sure which one the cig lighter is 'cause its not label that way. I found one that was alt s which could be it but that was only 10v.. i thought the lighter was 12. Plus i didn't see anything thta would look like any of the fuses are burnt anyway.
