criuse controll dead

Hi all just got here and what a great site. does anyone know how to fix It? my '97 tacoma v-6 with 73k started to work off and on, and now its dead. thanks for any and all info

Check the connector on the Cruise control actuator. See if it came loose.

My diaphram had a small pinhole in it once and caused the same thing. All I had to do was replace it.

Well, I had to take it to the dealer and have them run a diagnostic (cost money, I know ) I bought the part and put it on myself since they wanted an arm and a leg to do that simple job.
