85' M5
I'm looking at an 85 M5 at a local car lot. It looks like its in good shape but I haven't really checked it out yet. Whats a good price for one of these? Also how do they handle, how much power etc. Thanks

This car is going to give you a lot of trouble. I think you should pass on it. By the way, where is it located?
All kidding aside, there is an excellent price guide on the M535i website. The URL is http://www.m535i.org/e28info/price.html |

thanks for the link, the car is in Penticton BC lol. I imagine there are a lot of mods for a car like this, what could I get for not to much money?

I'm not sure of your price range, but the E30 3 Series is one of the most popular used cars if you are on a tight budget.
There are also a lot of E36 3 Series cars available now as people sell them or trade up to buy an E46. The early 4 cylinder Z3's are also a good value. Personally, I love the M cars, so that 1985 M5 sounds good. I also like the E30 M3. |
