Ceramic brake pads???

I heard that there are now ceramic brake pads that wont leave any kind of residue on chrome wheels and that they also stop faster,anybody tried ceramic pads yet or have any more info. on them?

my buddy has ceramics on his rx-7, they work really well. there are different kinds of pads that have different concentrations of ceramic. his are EBC, one level down from the best you can buy, and they work really well in the dust department. the only thing is that when the brakes get to operatin temp they squeel, and the hotter they get the more they squeel...

Does anyone know if there is any kind of anti-squeal pads that are available for the ceramic pads?
