Denali Front End Conversion

http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/custo...me.php?cat=286

Much to my chagrin GMC does not make a Denali trim that coms in a 9 seater. We need all nine so we settled on a Yukon XL. I love the rig! Fortunately, I stumbled on this web site that sells a Denali front end conversion! You can get the body kit but the only thing I really care about is the look up front.

Has anyone doen this before? I was wondering what a shop might charge to install and paint.

Re: Denali Front End Conversion

I responded to another post as well, but I definitely recommend checking out PAW's gallery on SUV World. You also may want to look at www.gmfullsize.com. I believe they have a complete list of part numbers.

Nothing at all against JP Customs - I've bought from them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - but they are very expensive. You may find much more success either by having your local body shop order the parts, or by ordering from www.fichtnerchevrolet.com (Bob Wendorff there is great, and he's very familiar with custom projects) or www.gmpartsdirect.com.

Finally, and not to dissuade you, but keep in mind that, if you were to get in an accident which caused front end damage, your insurance company will most likely only pay for OEM Yukon replacement parts.

Good luck!

Re: Re: Denali Front End Conversion

Thanks for the links! I was able to get a substantial discount from Jason at JP Customs so I was happy with the final price. As for the Denali front end conversion, as a Denali owner yourself (twice over) I think you understand why I desire that front end look. I hope GMC doesn't ever mess with it. In my opinion, the Denali front end is by far better looking than any Escalade.
