Green Light on Mirror
Ok what in the world is the green light button on/off on the rear view mirror for? Doesn't seem to do anything when you push it? I have the compass thing too but that has its own button to turn on and off??? Also when do you turn over drive off?

Read your manual. But maybe that button on your rearview is to turn the auto headlight diimmer at night on & off. I leave my overdrive off in the city, but anything over 45mph I turn it on.

Re: Green Light on Mirror
Seriously, don't people read the freakin' owner's manual or search a forum for the answer to a question?

Re: Green Light on Mirror
Sounds like you have an aftermarket auto-dimming/compass mirror installed. I assume it was installed by the dealer as some sort of "package" that probably included pinstripes and paint protection... Regardless, it should have been provided with instructions. It's probably this one, here are the instructions:
Donnelly mirror As for the overdrive, please take another look at your owner's manual, particularly pages 5-13 and 5-14. Brent |
