2nd gen SL 5-Speed vs. Newer BMW M5
I had a M5 blow past me yesterday, didn't have a chance to see him behind me to make it a race, just wondering what would have happened. I figured he probably would have killed me, but then I saw some M5 stats that said it ran 15.1 stock in the 1/4 and that's right around the SL, but i dont know about the newer M5's, anyone opinions?

ya, no chance in hell against an M5. and to think of it, you probably don't have a chance either with an M3 even.

ahhh I figured as much, good thing I didn't try anything. At least it was like a 17 yr old kid driving it, and you know it's daddy's car so I don't feel so bad.

ahhh...you shouldnt feel bad anyways. i dotn know what M5's run but i do know they are pretty damn close to $100k new and i think the brand new one's are well over a $100k. no reason to feel bad, you will probably be reading his obituary in the local paper if his dad keeps letting him drive his $100k, 400-500hp BMW!!!
