You have plenty of off road lights! But the other pics are too dark! Looks like a black X?

Where are you from? Are you running a lift or just cranked torsion bars?

Classic... CB antenna bolted to the fairlead mount, ARB mounted with only 4 bolts, tree wires, rattling shackles, street tires and step rails...

He is a brighter pic.
Pretty good eyes Ian. I would not have picked only 4 bolts on the ARB.

Yeah, that could be a problem. If I remember right those bolts are in the two slotted parts of the ARB, so the bumper could shift under impact.

With all those lights was the Alternator constantly on?
What was the idle RPM? Show us some good offroad pics next time to make up for the driveway shots here.

VenX if you're having problems getting the ARB aligned with the bolt holes, follow this procedure.
Loosen the front and rear bolts you already have installed, so the bar can move freely. Have someone grab the front bar by the top tube and lift it until you can insert the foremost bolts in the bottom slot. Next have the person pull the top tube towards the front of the vehicle. This should pivot the back slot upwards. If it's still not moving you can put a floor jack under the back edge by the bolt hole and use the jack to help lift into place. This should help even up the side wings with the body lines. Not every frame is the same, so sometimes you just can't get the side wings aligned, but pulling forward on the bar, and using a floor jack should get the rear slot in the best position possible to tighten everything down. This method has helped people get their bars installed without additional drilling of the bolt slots. Hope that helps. |

VenX
If you see a big black Xterra that looks a little like this
sometime during the dates of March 11-15 then give me a wave. I will be down there for spring break. If you would like to meet up and take a look at my X let me know. Its basically the same thing you seem to be going for. |
