95 neon SOHC surges then stalls when hot

Car starts and runs fine until it heats up, then will surge at idle and eventually buck and stall. Let it cool down and will start and run fine until it warms up and the cycle repeats. Changed the coilpack and VSS, no change. Can anyone help?
Thanks, Gary

well i had a similair problem but i had lower end knock along with it. but i would say check the coolant see if it went low along with the oil. you may have a head gasket leak or a wrapped head?

For those who have had this problem, the problem was the crankshaft position sensor. The previous troble codes along with the surging/revving symptoms were 11 and 43. The sensor was cracked and broke in the block when removing it. The originials are all plastic and crap. Be careful to pull straight out and don't try to start it by using a screwdriver as a pry..........that was my mistake. car runs fine now.
