Question What clutch for 35 shot NX????

I have a 99 Civ Si and put the NX 35 shot and plan to bump it up to a 50. I have the stock clutch on right now and it slips when I spray in 3rd gear. So I am looking into a new clutch. What kind of clutch should I get? Centerforce, Exedy, Clutch Master, ACT, or what? Thanks for the info.

I would go with clutch masters. I have no personal experience with them, but I am looking at getting a new clutch too and everyone has told me to go with clutch masters. Just be aware that a performance clutch's life is a lot less than a regular clutch's life.

What about a new flywheel, would this be a good time to buy one so they can put them both on at the same time? What is a good flywheel and how much power would it possibly increase? Thanx

lightened flywheels dont create more hp, they just make the revs go up thru the band alot quicker because of its inertia(?). that means the engine rpm is more responsive.
anyways, the downside of the lightened flywheel is that it makes it harder for the car to travel uphill (steep ones especially)

u dont have to buy a lighter one, u can shave it. but i recommend just leaving it as is. just upgrade the clutch. from my understanding, heavy duty performance clutches are better than stock ones....thats why they make them

Joyride, what do you think the best clutch is? For performance and still be able to be daily driven? I don't want anything with too harsh of an engagemnt that it gives me wiplash or anything but I do want more grip. A little wiplash isn't bad but I want something that will last also. I might plan on Turbo and up the Nitrous. Thanx

Yes I reccomend an act street performance clutch, I just ordered one for my sol and I have driven my friends prelude with a 6 puck and heavy duty plate, its very nice daily drive and when u get on it, its just magic. Definatly something you should experience... ACT
