ok ready 4 a stupid question?,lol im drivin 500miles, how much money do u think ill need 4 gas? i have a 99hyundai elantra. i realy need 2 know cuz i dont wana b stuck in the midle of nowhere,lol i just need a guess or sumtin cuz i have no clue

ok children, lets find out figure your gas mileage.
Fill your tank up.
look how many gallons your put in.
set the trip odometer or write down how many miles are on the car.
drive around untill you have burned some gas, lets say at least 60 miles.
Fill your tank back up. see how many gallons your burned.
Calculate MPG. that is miles/gallons
devide 500 by your MPG. thats how many gallons your iwll need. make sure to throw in a few extra incse of emergency.
example?

you put 5 gallons of gas upon fill up.
drive 100miles
Fill up agian
your have to put 4 in to fill it up.
100miles/4gallons= 25MPG
500/25= 20gallons+4 for emergency=29gallons.
now do it yourself.
