Cant find cause of wobble noise in front tire
I have a strange wobble noise when I drive over any bumps. I sounds like the lug nuts are loose.I just replaced the sway bar linkages. The whole brake system is new. Everything is tight. I noticed some bad inner tire wear on the side that wobbles. I had it to the garage and they could not find anything wrong. Can anybody help me.

Re: Cant find cause of wobble noise in front tire
I have a thumping sound that was coming from the rear pass side wheel. I rotated the tires and the sound moved to the front. I rotated them again and it went to the rear. It must be a flat spot in the tire. Try rotating the suspect tire and if the sound moves then it is most likely the tire or wheel and not suspension.

You need a second opinion. Go out with a mechanic and drive over the bumps that you know ahead of time will exhibit the problem. That should be all you need for a proper diagnosis. The problem can be fixed when the mechanic can reproduce it.

The plies in your tire may be delaminating. This causes a thumping noise, like driving over washboards on a dirt road. Try vicv's trick, rotate your tires and see (hear?) if the sound is tire or suspension specific.
