MY Honda V6 LX 95 AC is not cool enough

Hi everybody,

I have a Honda Accord 95 LX V6 and the AC did not produce enough cool air. I notice that when I run in the high way, it produced more cool air than the car is idle. It is 60 degrees while the car is idle and it is 50 degrees while the car is in the high speed. I thought it is suppose to be 40 degrees. Please guide me how to fix this. I think I can do it myself. By the way, I did put one R134a freon can into my car yesterday and I check the level of freon through my kit and the gage showed that the freon level is overloaded which is more than enough. I think I can fix this and I don't want to bring my car to the dealer or garage.

You need to bleed off the overcharge so you don't blow a hose or seal, and see if both radiator fans are running at idle. If just one is running, the reduced airflow through the condensor may be the problem.

Cooling efficiency is not outlet temperature but difference between air temperature going into the evaporator and air temperature coming out of the evaporator. So if it is hot outside, the outlet temperature will be higher then if the outside temperature is cold.
