code answer

P1596 is the following error:

P1596 Automatic transmission diagnosis input signal circuit high input

Best of luck! Shouldn't be much of a problem to fix...

Re: code answer

So would this be tied into the clock spring also?? I think that it might be, but not sure...the Dodge dealership thought it might...what do you think.

Yea, But is this tied into the clock spring. I changed the clock spring today, that was fun. Everything is working like new again, but how do I clear out the code in the Computer??

Clearing Code

The codes on the OBD II systems must be electronically reset by the computer module available at pepboys, autozone, ect...

Autozone here in Florida resets the computers for no charge.
