I have a b16 A1, but the swap was done before i bought the car and i was wondering if there is ne way to tell the year of the engine so itll make it easier for a clutch purchase?

Re: engine age

the year is stamped on the block in a little circle near the exhuast manifold you'll see something like this (9|1) indicating a 91.

however an even easier way to determine would be just looking at the engine code. if its just a b16a then any type of cable clutch will do. a b16a2 or a3 or b16b would require a hydraulic clutch.
