Re: won't start
What happens when you turn the key?

Re: won't start
Sorry, I still am unclear on what happens. The engine is turned by the starter, but it doesn't start running? Is that what happens?

Re: won't start
Can you check to see if you have spark and fuel? You need both.

Re: Re: won't start
I have roughly the same problem. I have a 93 Camry 4cyl. I JUST replaced my distributor today with a NEW (not REMAN) part. I had replaced the distributor before, about 6 months ago, but it was a REMAN. It crapped out last week, so I got the REAL-DEAL Toyota part. I put it in and let the motor idle for about 10 minutes. About 2 hours later, I went to the store about 10 miles away. As soon as I put the car in "Park" it died!!! It will still turn over and run, but if I don't hold the gas pedal it will die. I drove it home using the gas and brake simultaneously to keep it from dying at idle speed!!! NOW WHAT DO I DO???!!!
