Greetings all...Daughter's A..Great little car, but has some issues. Check engine light likes to come on on occasion, then goes off. Had it scanned because I could not get the system to talk to me. Got the Chiltons book, did the jump of A and B,,,no communication. AutoZone had an old OBDI scanner in the back...Showed code 35 which turned out to be Idle Air error. Replaced the Idle Air Control Valve...Engine light still flashes on then goes off...The intersting thing is the car runs just fine..Would love to be able to chat with the car, but the other issue is that sometimes the car has a fit...The door locks will lock and unlock, the c chime will sound and the interior lights will come on and go off about 5 or 6 times then settle down and be fine...I know that it must be an electrical issue, and may need to looked at by a electrical shop, but as mentioned, runs great. Question(finally), is there a way to trouble shoot the computer without having to give my first born child...I am fairly handy when it comes to cars, not much time with Gm..Thoughts from any of you GM experts...Ps, car only has an original 68,000 miles...Yeah, belonged to Grandma,,present for college...Warmest regards,,,Steve n fla...
