89 SHO wont start
i hava a 89 sho that has been sitting for about 3 months. Now she won't start. The battery is ok, as well as the connections. The one thing I noticed was the ignition coil was shot, so I replaced with new. She cranks over just fine, but acts like there is no spark. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Remembering that engines need Fuel, Spark, and Compression to run, this would be the first spot I would check.
Turn it over a few times, take out a spark plug and see if it had gas getting into the cylinders. Next check the spark on the plug you've just removed. Prolly will take 2 people, put the plug on something metal and have someone watch it as you crank the motor over. Don't hold the plug and attempt to crank the motor over. Compression testing requires a compression tester, and is probably not the problem. If you have fuel and you have spark, check the computer for fault codes (KOEO). Pete |

no kidding. Comp is good and she is getting fuel. i pulled 1 plug and the end was we with fuel. i could not check for spark, as I was the only one around. But would have something happened to the crankshaft sensor. it was just relaced not to long ago.
