Question rpm's running high?

hey i have a 98 civic ex with i/e. When i am daily driving my rpm's seem like they are running really high for a honda. at 85 mph in 5th gear im at about 3500-3800 rpm. is this around the right range for my car or a little high. if it too high then what might the problem be? thanks
