95 jetta startup problems
I need some help, when i start my car and it has sat for a few days, usually in the cold or rain it has problems accelerating for a few miles, like 5-7, than it seems to work itself out. It has no power and almost dies out. Idles really rough. Thanks for any advice. It's an automatic 95 jetta 2.0

Re: 95 jetta startup problems
Do you let it warm up first? With every car you should let the oil warm up for at least 1 minute before attempting to drive.

Re: 95 jetta startup problems
You might want to check out the ignition coil, which is prone to crack. Hesitation when wet is a classic sign, try spraying it with water (it's supposed to be water tight) & see if it gets really bad.

hesitation/slugish accel
hey, this sounds very similar to what my '95 jetta GL 2.0 was doing not too long ago. In my case they changed out the O2 sensor and all was well once again.
