Need Transmisson Help ?

Im New To The Mercury Family And I Need A Little Help I Have Just Bought A 93 Mercury Tracer I Have Never Hear Of This Car Untill Now Anyway The Car Runs Great But I Have A Problem With The Transmission When Going Into 2-3-4 Gear The Transmission Shifts Kind Of Hard Kind Of Jerking Into Gear Its Not To Bad But You Can Tell When Driving What Does This Mean Do I Needd To Get A New Transmission Are Is This A Ok Thing On These Car

first check your transmission fluid.

have you taken it for any long drives on the highway yet? that should smooth out most of your problems. my merc tracer transmission used to do all sorts of weird shit when it got a little cool outside, but after driving it for a few months it went away.
