fel-pro valve gasket question
got it at auto zone today for 18 bux plus tax. box says not to use any chemical adhesive because it has "perma-dry ®©™." ppl are telling me to use rtv silicone gasket maker stuff, in which i have... what should i do?

just put the silicon on. it can't possibly hurt. thats what i did.

Re: fel-pro valve gasket question
Valve cover gasket? I used a Corteco(sp?) with no RTV. Its kind of a O-ring type gasket. The RTV can't hurt but mine isn't leaking. Just make sure you don't over-torque the bolts. They are pretty easy to strip. Good luck
