I was driving on the highway earlier on tonight..and i noticed smoke pouring out fo the engine......i got off the next exit and popped the truck and saw light green fluid dripping down the hood....i thought it was washer fluid and worried i attempted to drive back home....it got soo bad that i couldnt even see out of my car so i pulled over again popped the hood and it was still guzzling out green fluid...being the extremly worried kid iam i drove as fast as i could back home and made it just in time to see all my radiator coolant leak out of my car...........i..iam guessing i have a major coolant leak.......does an yone know how much can i expect to pay to repair the leak

Well its really hard to say. It could be a bunch of things that caused it to overheat. It could be as simple as a stuck thermostat, $2 at Napa. Did you even notice your temp gauge going up at all?

Re: wtf........Mustang's F*cked

i know this is going to sound odd, and like its going to screw up your car... but it wont. put an egg in the radiator. turn on the car let it run if you a leak in the radiator the egg closes the hole. crazyi know
saw it on myth busters b4.

Check all hoses, put a hose in the radiator and fill it up with water then check under the car for any leaks coming from the radiator.

Talk about GREEN eggs and Ham.

Try what andrewespo recommended.

Fill it with water,
let the car idle long time,
watch the water flow.

Hey, my first car Haiku.

If its a GT then most likely its the plastic intake, Ford will replace it for free the first time, they will pay all expenses, including towing it to the shop.

Re: wtf........Mustang's F*cked

uhhh guys my car has been fixed for like 4 weeks now....it turned out there was a huge tear in the Radiator hose...odly my mechanic said that tear was too perfect to be caused naturally and suggested that someone had to have sliced it with a knife....wierd cuz that emasn someone would of had to crawl under my car look for the radiator hose and cut it which i doubt anyone would do
