Lightbulb windshield wiper question.............

ok, last night, there was a HUGE storm here....rain was coming down in sheets, i had to hit the hazzards and pull over a sec it was so bad...my wipers couldnt keep up! i dislike my wipers...this is a civic CX from 92..now, its not my blades im talking about, but the actual motion of them......it seems the "low" or "light" setting is still too fast, and the fast setting is not fast enough.....well, not so much not fast enough, just the low setting is too fast..i want them to go every 5 seconds or so when on low setting..rather than up n down up n down up n down like they do now..how possible (if at all) would it be to alter this? im assuming they use some kind of relay to the motor....so i could either change the relay, or would i change the motor? or do neither and just deal with it?
has anyone ever done/heard of such a thing? any advice is appreciated..

And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

you prolly have to just deal with it.

im sick of this freaked up weather. the wind is blowing like 50 mph here last night it was raining hard and my wipers funked up. one overlapped the other.

yeah, it was like that here in binghamton last night...and its mad windy right now. i could feel myself hydroplane a bit.
but as for the wipers, i really dont see why it isnt at all possible....its gotta have something contolling them, why cant i change whats controlling them? it had to be put there at one point...

in theory i would imagine replacing the wiper motor relay with a faster action one would work.

the two best products in the world are super glue and rainX. i love rainX once you use it you wont be able to go with out it. it costs about 3 bucks for a bottle that will last a year or more. you apply it once a month or less. and kiss your wiper problems good by you wont even need them very often. on the highway you will never need them.

Just put Rain X on and drive faster.
And JB weld is better than superglue.
Hey it could be worse, it could be snowing like it always does in Binghamton.
We got lucky this winter.
