Times are not going to drastically change with just those mods.

Yup, if you are looking for like second, or multiple second drops you better be ready to DROP alot of money down for either a swap, turbo, or extreme engine work and tuning... you cant just go from like a 16 second car to a 12 second car and think you arent going to spend any money...

save up to drop a turbo on that mug. maybe you can jump into the low 15's with the stock boost. and as i remember the turbo for the older civics aren't as expensive as the turbo's for the newer ones. look into it.

Yeah, you're right. Fuck the piddly $1000 mods like IHE and go straight for the $3000-$4000 mods like engine swaps and turbos. Better yet, forget that...swap in a SKYLINE ENGINE and then convert it to AWD!!! HELL YEAH!!

He asked a question, all he wants is an answer: The D16Z6 should already get you into the low 16's stock, IHE should be able to get into the high 15's.

im not going to screw the i/h/e for one reason: im not spending a grand on it. im sure most people dont. right now i have exhaust, witch i only got because i had to. my old muffler started dragging. it cost me $200. im going to build my own intake $70. and as far as a header goes im not sure, i might get dc witch is what like $300 tops. thats about $600 max. i dont want to dump tons of money in a car that is almost 10 years old. dont get me wrong i love my car, but i have other stuff that is a little more important than running 12s. i think i can have just as much fun autoXing as i can drag racing and its ALOT cheaper. any ways im done rambling.
