Question Unused airbag ???'s

I've got a perfectly unused airbag center piece from my 96 GP SE that Im wanting to get rid of. The reason is because I had alot of troubles with fixing my turn signal issues a while back and in the course of cleaning the contacts I got so pissed off that I basically tore out the ASM coil module that controls the airbag inflating. So now I have a useless airbag on my steering wheel. I would like to find the steering wheel radio controls to do an even trade....but I dont know how much these go for in a perfect working condition. Anybody got any clues???

Call A Few Wreckers!

My advice is to call a few wreckers and give them the car info, then ask if they have an airbag & module in stock & how much?

If it's a commonly stocked item it might not be worth much until the right buyer comes along, otherwise if they say that's it's a hard to get airbag, talk to the manager and tell him what you have, maybe he can work out a credit for you(or buy it), which might allow you to buy your stereo controls plus have credit left!!!

Good Luck
