stalling problem
I have a 1988 Chrysler Lebron convertible. Its a 2.2 non turbo. The problem I am having is a immediate stall. I checked the fuel pressure and it is at just over 15 psi....book says it needs to be at 14.5. My dad was looking at it and what it would do is the fuel injector would just shut off for a sec, which causes the car to stall. It stalls quicker with colder weather. I replaced the fuel filter just a couple weeks ago. I put in dry gas and fuel injector cleaner recently. I did the computer self test and it came up with a code of 55, which is just end of codes. Check engine light never came on. Check the plugs and it shows that it is not getting enough fuel. Spark plugs and wires were replaced at the end of summer. Any suggestions?

Re: stalling problem
Are you sure its fuel injected? A car that old I believe should be carborated. If it is carborated your not letting it warm up enough. It could also be your fuel filter. If its plugged that would explain the slight increase in fuel pressure, you may be trying to force the same volume of fuel through a smaller opening therefor increasing the pressure.

Re: stalling problem
Yes I am sure it is fuel injected. It is a single body fuel injector. It has a throttle body and a injector which we watched fuel go through it. Also as I said I just replaced the fuel filter just a couple weeks ago.
