Unhappy 87' 2.8 gets fuel ...most of the time

[i]hello I have a 87' s10 blazer 2.8. recently bought this truck and is reasonable shape for having been drove very hard.I was hard to start when i looked at it but gave me no trouble for couple weeks, now in the last week it has given me a very hard time in starting. it always starts sooner or later, and I have checked fuel pump, fuel regulator and filter.it gets fuel up to and into regulator.I bought a "noid" to check the incoming wires but both times today when i tried to start it (and not starting) i connected the noid and then it would try to start so take noid off no start ,do this all over same result but it started up then.
is the any ideas on why its not getting fuel,it is a definate itermidiate problem.could this be a ignition switch problem or a fuel injectors problem? i find it hard to believe both would be bad at same time so Im at the siganal going to injectors and I dont know where to look and check that out.

Just for the heck of it, you just bought the truck. When was the last time it was tuned up?

Also, I am going to assume that you have a TBI unit. Check to see where the wires go through the throttle body and see if the insulation is cracked or broken. Have seen this problem before.
