my dash lights wont work

my dash lights on my 97 nissan sentra gxe arent working.
could it be a bulb or wireing?, how can i take aprt things to find out and fix it.

its all the dash and ac control lights out
what should i do?

I guess the first thing I would try is to see if I had a blown fuse if all the lights are out. After that it could be a broken hot or ground wire or the switch itself. Good luck
