Red Line
for all you redline drivers. im looking into the Cobalt SS but since its not out yet i figured you guys/girls may know some quick questions since they are the same engines and set up.although the superchargers may be different im not sure since the SS has the Eaton. The stock boost what is it set at? the SS supercharger stock maxes out at 12psi i dont think its set at 12 so if the redline is set at 10 im pretty sure the SS will be the same. Also can that engine handle the 12psi if it is only set at 10 becuase i kno the companies don't want to run the risk of damage so they dont max that kind of stuff even if the car could handle it. im pretty sure this is all i had for questions so thanks for any accurate answers.

Re: Red Line
oh it'll hold it... but like you said it just does more "damage" the higher you boost it

Just Bought A Redline About 4 Months Ago, Had A Celica Gt-s, And I Couldn't Be Happier. The Ion Has The Same Exact Setup That The Ss Has. They Both Have The Eaton Charger That Runs At 12psi. I Know That The '05 Redline Has A "competition Package" That Comes With Lsd,fog Lights, gunmetal Wheels W/polished Lip,boost Gauge And Tach. Another Plus About The Ion Is The Recaro Buckets Are Standard, whereas The Ss It's An Option I Think. Hope That Helps A Little For Ya.
