Vibration in the rear on a 94 Mustang
It almost sounds like those warning bars on the highway making almost a humming sound. It definitely sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car and I am almost completely out of ideas. It only seems to happen just after the transmission shifts basically just as the rpm is dropping. But it only seems to do this at a low idle. When it shifts above 2500 it doesn't seem to do it. I've checked out the U-Joints and there seems to be no slop in them. Its not tires either because all four were just changed out with an alignment and balancing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Vibration in the rear on a 94 Mustang
Mine went away when I installed an FRPP aluminum driveshaft.
Could also be the gears or a bearing. Does it have aftermarket gears?
