How do you program remotes to a 00 Sebring LXi Coupe?

Hello,

I am looking for programming instructions for the 00 Sebring LXi coupe.

I actually have a 96 Sebring LXi, which i'm not sure if the procedure is the same or not, but i did it myself in like 5 min. What you do is get a paper clip. Bend it all the way out so you have 2 points. What you do is look directly under the steering colum (close to the center consul. you'll see a black box, with 2 rolls of 'holes' what you do is put one end of the paper clip in the 1st hole, and the other end of the paper clip to the 4th one.

After that, CLOSE THE DOOR, put the key in the ignition, and turn to 'accesory' the doors should lock, if it doesn't 'turn key again', after doors lock, then press unlock/lock 5times.

Remote is programed. remove the paper clip. If it doesn't work email me. [email protected]

Thanks for the reply. Those are the same instructions I found for the 95-96, I am trying to see if there are instructions available for the 00 coupe model.

How does one determine which is "hole" 1? It it left to right from firewall or vise versa. Also does it start with the top row of holes. Thanks for any help.

Does anyone have the program for a 96 Sebring Convertable remote? If it helps it has just 2 bottons.

If you still have your owners manual check it. That's were I found the instructions for my 2003
