G-Tech
Hey guys, i just recieved my G-tech Pro meter and it works great! Its VERY accurate when it comes to 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I was surprised! The Gtech company came out with a new model ($300 color screen) and they are selling the old ones on ebay for 39.99!( new in box) I was sceptical about how well they worked and thought if any of you were considering getting somthing cheap that will give you accurate numbers this is a good choice.

Re: G-Tech
Yeah they BOTH measure HP. The only dif. on the new ones is they have RPM and a shift light and fancy display. you just need to get your car weighed at a truck stop for accuaracy for HP. otherwise every thing else is plug and play.
The Gtech measures 0-60 1/4 mile G's 60-0 braking distance horsepower |

Re: G-Tech
I've seen people run them in the car during a track run and they are surprisingly accurate. MPH will always read high though becuase the Gtech takes the measurement right at the quarter mile mark, while the track will average it over the last 60 feet. So in that sense its more accurate. But ET is damn close. The HP function should be accurate as well if you know your exact weight. Truck scales tend to read tens of thousands of pounds, not sure how accurate they are in teh 3000 pound range. A tracks scale should be more accurate. But its better than guessing

Re: G-Tech
I may have to pick one of those up...I had been looking into getting Palm Dyno for my palm datalogging setup, but this seems like an interesting option as well. Thanks for the heads-up
