I tested out the power of my car today and noticed that my boost my slowly drops as i am getting closer to redline from 2nd through 4th gear...Is that normal? I'm running stock boost of 9psi and running a 16g turbo. Do you guys think there is a possible boost leak? If so, how could it be checked and fixed? My buddy who is also a DSMer told me that its a boost leak...what do you guys think???

Re: Possible boost leak???
9psi ! ,why would you possibly want to run 9psi on a 16g???!? you should be boosting around 13-16psi
the only way to know if there is a boost leak, is to test for one... yes and it is normal for pressure to drop in higher RPM..

Re: Possible boost leak???
I would be surprised if you couldn't maintain at least 19psi to redline on any 16g. To test for a boost leak, you use the intake leak tester from the VFAQ. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html
