Need: 1/24 Tamiya HONDA NSX decals... HELP!

This may sound real stupid, but maybe someone out there can help.

I was working on my Tamiya 1/24 HONDA NSX kit and accidentally spilled paint thinner onto the decal sheet. 'OUCH!!!'

So to make it short...if anyone out there has an extra sheet of the Tamiya HONDA NSX decal sheet, let me know!

I actually only need the four little 'H' decals that goes on the wheel center caps...(the rest of the decals were luckily salvagable). I noticed alot of you guys putting aftermarket wheels onto your NSX models, so if anyone out there still has the decals I need lying around, drop me a line at [email protected].

I'm tempted to buy another new kit and get the sheet from there, but that seems like an extreme waste of a good kit.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Have you tried contacting Tamiya directly for another decal sheet? I'm in the UK and whenever I need particular parts, I write to them stating the part I require together with kit no. and part no.

They will charge you, but it's gonna be cheaper than buying another kit, especially as it's only the decal sheet you need. Just make your letter out to the 'International Division'.

Try contacting Tamiya. They may charge you or they may not.

Call Tamiya at 1-800-TAMIYA-A

(or PM me... I bet I could spare just the wheel cap decals...)

If Jay can't help, I have a set for you; I found a set of chrome Model 5's for my NSX and won't be needing the wheel decals.

I was going to offer you my centercap decals, but since everyone else did, I guess I won't....

But while thinking about it, it occured to me that Revell makes the same decals for the Civic Si. So I broke out both sets of decals and compared them. The Civic H's are about 3/4 the size, but they should do in a pinch. And they won't be yellowed like the old Tamiya decals that have been sitting around for a while. Just an idea, in case you have the Revell kit laying around.

Oh, and if you really need them, I can send you both (or either) sets of H's since I'm not using any. In fact, tell me what you need for the others, too, since I'm going to be using only the H badging (for the front and rear of the NSX, not wheels) and one of the instrument clusters. I could send you the rest of the sheet.
