Re: Fuel Injectors

well... If you aren't planning on running forced induction or Nitrous oxide, its not really worth it.. All you will be doing really is dumping more fuel into the cylanders... But you can get the Apexi S-AFC II.. which without the boost, your regular injectors are good enough and that unit will be able to put the proper A/F ratio through your stock injectors...

Re: Fuel Injectors

I reccomend taking your car to the mechanics and saying "do whatever you have to do to carburate my engine" and he will laugh, then pull out a briefcase of money....he will do it, and carbs are cooler than injectos

I think your Forum ID says enough about the stupidity of that last comment... This isn't small block or hemi forums... so take your Edlebrock carburators and holly headers elsewheres.... Wake up and smack yourself upside the head with a brick and realize this isn't 1970's anymore... Rollin up to high school blaring STYX renegade in your dad's Dodge or w/e isn't cool anymore....( Don't get me wrong that song kicks ass)... but pullin a billy maddison... no way!

Re: Fuel Injectors

well, what if i roll up to school playing renegade in my cavalier, because i am still a senior in high school. i just think fuel injection sucks, it is much more difficult to work on, and much more expensive. however when we get our 67 dodge shaggin waggon of a van on the road i will roll up in my dad's dodge playing styx.

Re: Fuel Injectors

You say fuel injection sucks because you don't know anything about it. Why do you think corvettes were some of the first to use fuel injection? BECAUSE IT'S BETTER.

Re: Fuel Injectors

I still like carbs of injectors any day becasue they are simplier to tune. but i do enjoy the easiness of injectors. Ok so what is the Apexi S-AFC II thing. I'm lost.
