Arrow anyone tried number 1 coilovers

has anyone tried number 1 coilovers. they are sold at the nopi store and i bought a set and installed them last year. im not an expert or anything but i was fairly pleased with them besides the fact i couldnt get them to hold their height in the rear of the car. this irritated me to a certain extent cause i got tired of dragging the rear of my car on curbs. anyhow i was just curious to see if i was the only test dummy for these things and am curious to other peoples opinions

When it comes to suspension it isnt something you want to just find something cheap to slap on there. Sure an e-bay intake will be cheap and will give you about the same hp gain, and an off brand exhaust isnt going to hold back much hp but your suspension is much more important than those things, its what is holding your car from the road. Just remember that when your shopping for your next set of coilovers

When it comes to sleeve-type coilovers, the only 2 brands I will ever recommend are Ground Control and Skunk2. All other sleeve type coilovers are junk.

Skunk2 coils for a civic are 450lbs/inch front and 350 rear. Skunk2 does not offer the option of custom spring rates and lengths. If you want stiffer springs, the 94+ teg coils will fit on a 92-95 civic. The Skun2 teg ones have a 550lbs/inch front rate and 450 rear. All the springs are linear rate. Skunk2 has a 90 day warrenty (does not cover sag). However, I have never heard of this being an issue with skunk2.

Ground Controls standard civic coilovers are have a little softer spring rate than Skunk2. However, you can get custom spring rates, lengths and diameters with Ground Control. This means you have the option to make the springs stiffer or softer, or anything in-between. Ground Control springs have Linear rate also. They feature a lifetime warrenty to the orignal purchaser (covers sag).

You'll want new shocks any time you lower a car. Koni yellows pair well with these. You'll need to them when ordering you have Koni's if you do.
