Angry need some advice in modeling

im drying my 512 now and i am confused. Do i apply the compound

right away after drying or spray the clear first before using the

compound?and how about the wax and the decals? where do the slip in?

Why are you clear coating it ??
I beleive that if you have done a really first class job on the painting you should only use the compound then the polish to give it a first class look.
The decals are done last. Once they are dry just give it a polish to remove water marks from the paint and decal

And make sure you let the paint cure long enough before polishing.
Rule of thumb is 2 weeks for Acrylic enamels (testors) and about a week
for laquers.

I see....so compound first, then decal, afterwards you polish over them?
tamiya compound will do well right? as polish


also:

i use tamiya spray can so there laqueres right? also guddy thread said

you can use "tooth paste" as a substitute compound, i havent found one

in my local hobbie shop yet for t-cut compound.

Only use the compound on the car's paint...DON'T use it on the decals.
The Tamiya wax is OK to use on the decals
