I don't recall this being posted yet. Zex is selling off their lightened flywheel stock for the SR20DE. The price is UNBELIEVEABLE! It's believed that these are the same as the JUN flywheels. I bought one already. You'll NEVER find a price like this again. If you got the cash get one now before they're gone! www.zex.com

Damn I should have bought 2!

the flywheels goes on the tranny so no worries
i only have to pay a little bit extra for the JUN ones compared to the ZEX prices, so i might still get teh JUN

yeah.. i know.. but i was referring to it being able to handle our HP goal *wink wink*...

but i just noticed on the site it says the flywheel is 200% stronger than stock... i think i might get the ultra light version...

although i'd rather have JUN parts over Zex...

email me a price... if i got the JUN i'd want the "high street" version which is their ultra light wheel

Luke: Yeah YOU only have to pay a little extra! What about us poor pleeb's who have to go through distributors and pay retail. It's still a kick ass deal

Boogie: There is speculation that JUN and Zex are the exact same flywheel. Zex is a division of Comp Cams and Comp sells the Jun cam as their own, at an inflated price. Since the specs are exact between the zex and the jun flywheels many suspect that they are actually made by jun....so buy the Zex and call it a Jun. I know I will.

Oh yeah. It will fit ALL SR20DE trannies. As for performance. At those prices it will probably be best bang for the buck.

Pros:
1. Better throttle because of lightened mass
2. Turbo'd cars will build boost faster
3. Faster excelleration
4. Frees up horsepower

Cons:
1. Easier to stall.
2. Coasts down faster

A light flywheel on a turbo car will get the best results.

how about this guys..let me call up Zex next week and find out if i can get better prices than their sales price...and then we can all buy it together...i did some little research and seems like they are the same thing...just like Griffen makes all the intercooler for everyone but companies like HKS, GReddy just sells it for more....although HKS and GReddy gives Griffen the design sheets...anyway, i'll get back to you guys on this.

sorry...been busy and didn't get a chance to talk to ZEX until recently...well, they want a huge buy in before I can set up an account with them and since their line of product isn't very appealing (besides the flywheels) I am not going to do so.
However, I'll probably just buy their flywheel cuz it's a kick ass price!

Dprotech...I got your email but i'll just answer your questions here. for a short shifter kit...the Stillen ones (complete stick and housing) it'll be $235 shipped. It's very expensive but I have them on my car and quite like it. More function than looks because it only looks a tiny bit lower than the stock shifter but the shift action is alot shorter and cripsier now.
as for Pacesetter and the SMC, i would have to check on those and get back to you, don't deal with them that much. I can also get the Japanese C's shortshifter for around $350 though
but if i have the money, i would get that hehe
as for clutch, there's plenty of choice....ACT, clutchmaster, we have our own clutch...
for the JUN flywheel..it's a lot more than the ZEX...$450..but it says JUN on it
