fender flares?

I have recently posted a question about wide fenders for my crx in hopes of somebody knowing where i could find some, but that was not the case. the new question is regarding fender flares are they any good, easy or hard to install, any input would be greatly usefull. the only ones that i can find are universal i can't find any specificly for my 1989 crx if anybody knows please inform me.
