Question 99 plymouth neon transmission problem

Is it a big problem if when driving an automatic, the car pulls when going from 20 to 30 mph? it sounds as if the transmission doesnt want to shift. its not very noticeable but what would i need to do to fix this before it gets worked? a tune up wouldnt help that at all would it?

Be more specific, the car pulls from 20-30? what does that mean? It shifts in that range normally? My neon always shifted hard if that what you meant, but then 9 months later I blew the transmission apart. But just check your fluid and if its a trans problem a tune up wil not affect it any.

It means that it normally should be shifting when it does, but its not smooth enough that when im driving i can feel it. And im conscious of it now because i just bought it and i dont want the tranny to die on me.
