Yeah, I believe they claim 160 at the flywheel from the USDM B16.

What's wrong with Si's?

Expect around 8-10hp@wheels from a cat-back and cold-air intake (all depends on what brands you buy).

Thats good man!!!
Can you be specific as why you know it was an SI?.........
Don't want to sound like im not buying what you are saying but also there are ALOT of Civics in the street with SI badges(that are not SI's)
Do you know all the differences between an SI(coupe) and a regular civic?(without poping the hood)

This is why cuz it had the SI badge and SI rims and the DOHC VTEc decal on the side of the car
if thats not an SI then some one wasted alot of money on makeing it look like one

Well i have SI rims, had an SIR and DOHC VTEC decals(on a hatchback) and doesn't mean i have an SI....There are alot of CIVIC owners that try to fool others to think they have an SI when its not
You probably raced and DX or LX, which have just 106hp stock on a SOHC motor or even AN EX which has 127hp on a SOHC motor.
...But a Mirage beating a real SI with just a CAI and catback?
I only have a CAI on my 106hp stock engine and i've beaten some mirages with cat backs on the road.

OK next time you look for this: 4wheel disc brakes, all trims colormatched, sunroof,SI seats(which you'll know by the headrests, they are the ones with a hole on them)It has to have the 99-00 front end(the one with the side vents on the bumper and fog lights) SI lip. And the color(SI's only came in Black,Red and EBP blue)
Those are some exterior things that will let you know its an SI.There are more but i guess you wont take a look into the inside of the car since youre driving yours he he....
