what to do
i have 96 tbird with 4.6l and i want a mustang or camaro (new ones) i saw 2001 gt stang convertible for 15k. then my dad said that he would gimme his 95 z28 camaro convertible for my tbird and 2k but the camaro needs a new rag top (about 1.6k). what do i do?

I love tbirds, but if that z28 is the 5.7 v8, TAKE IT.. Hell i know i would. Camaro's are beautiful. If it's the v6-DON'T BOTHER.

I look at it like this, my brother and I go to car shows frequently and make remarks like, "Look, another Mustang," or "Look, another Camaro." If you like them, don't worry about what I say because you like them. Tbirds are very uncommon and with a little work, can smoke a Firebird, Camaro, or Mustang. Put the $1600 you'd spend on the ragtop into mods for the Tbird and I think you'll be happy.

I agree with flew the coupe... you said hes askin for a trade plus 2k.. then youd spend 1.6k on a rag top, meaning youre putting 3600 dollars towards that camaro and all youre gonna get is a nice rag top.. hell no. I like t birds way better. put 3600 into your car and spank the dog sh*% out of the camaro.
