95 Sunfire Passenger Seat won't lock in place
My Passenger's seat became disloged somehow, and it rolls back when you hit the gas and rolls forward when you hit the brakes!!!! Not only is this annoying, but it also annoys the back seat passengers and I really don't think this is safe either. Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried jamming stuff under there to keep it in place, but I couldn't get it right.

Re: 95 Sunfire Passenger Seat won't lock in place
you have the dreaded J-body passenger seat disease. I have it as well. you must remove the seat and re-set it on the track for it to work properly, also the spring that locks it clamp comes loose. no matter how many time you fix it, it will never hold.

i have the opposite problem, my passenger seat wont move.
its because some dumbass stuck his bigass boots under the seat and broke the wire that goes across under the seat, i have no idea what it is called but now my seat wont move unless i go under the seat and slide it manually and wherever i put it, thats where she stays. it doesnt bother me but makes it really difficult for peeps in the back trying to get out or putting anything large in the back seat....gonna be a bitch for christmas shopping lol...damn 2 door cars lol
