help me decide plz

I was looking for a car yesterday and i found a 2001 mustang gt convertible. they wanted 14995 for it. 35000 miles. i know insurance for this car wont be cheap for me being and 18 year old male. then my father offered me to give him my 96 t-bird and 2000 dollars for his 95 z28 camaro convertible. i love both cars. the z28 needs a new rag top approx 1600 dollars for it. it blue books at 8,500 or so... with good top.. the 96 tbird is 4500 bbv. i can be n my fathers insurance on the camaro if i get it. what do i do?

dont get the pony. most insurance companies prices go down when you turn 19. I cant see a downside unless the camaro has something else wrong with it

Re: help me decide plz

being that i have both cars, i would pick the mustang if you plan to use it for a while, 35000 mile is not much and its a newer car. seems a bit high on the price though. i had my mustang for 3 years and i have 88K on it. runs goods. the camaro is a 95. its 9 yrs old and you may run into some problems. but hey, if you want to spend 14K on a mustang, you can have a bad ass z28 for that. if in interests you, i seen a 2001 camaro at a dealer today that was 189 dollars a month. it was nice looking. im thinking it was a SS, but with that price, i dont know about that. look into a newer camaro.

y2icon - 19 years old? i dont know where you live, but most are 25 yrs old. im 22 years old, with a 2000 mustang , i pay 232 a month just for insurence

camaro, one because it would be cheaper, two because u can be on ur dad's insurance (which will be cheaper i think) and three you'll win more races which is the whole point to own either car.

sorry stang guys, i had to let the camaro in me come out in that last part...
