Re: Iacv

Mines the same way only mine is the EACV (but same thing). My car drops about .5k when I have my headlights on. It's really nerve racking

Re: Iacv

a low idle w/ the A/C on is actually a normal thing. It takes power for the engine to run the A/C that's y the RPMs drop. And I'm assuming you meant 700. My car idles at 600 and I don't have A/C or PS. As long as it isn't rough, then I really wouldn't worry

Re: Iacv

adjusting youre idle screw near the end of youre throttle cable is a sure way to bump youre idle up however much you wish. a low idle is not a real problem as long as is consistant and not erratic or fluttering. my idle flutters up and down which unless i have aftermarket cams is a significant problem. but having youre idle drop 200 rpm's is normal, its because y oure lil alternator only puts out oh say 70 amps and you have a small battery, when you turn off youre car youre lights dim too try hooking up a couple twelve inch competition subwoofers bumping it, while you have youre air conditioning on its the same way as youre rake pedal, pump it a few times and youre booster sucks up some power. power steering or windows as well.

but to 'tune' or rather adjust youre iacv you can just turn the little screw near the nifty contraption at the end of youre screw, it adjusts how open the little flap inside the intake manofold stays open.
